Staff Conduct

The Code of Conduct outlines the behaviour required of staff and the expectations on staff, along with how the College will respond to breaches of this Code of conduct.

The purpose of the Code of conduct is to ensure that all staff have a clear understanding of what is expected of them in terms of their behaviour while employed at the College and the consequences of not meeting those expectations.

As a Christian College the basis for this Code of conduct is a desire for all staff to positively represent the College and, even more importantly, Christ as in 2 Corinthians 5:20 that “we are Christ’s ambassadors”. We want all staff to be an example to students, families and community of God’s goodness and grace (Titus 2:7).

Relationships and Communication

Professional relationships

Staff are expected to maintain professional relationships with all other staff, families and students.

To assist with this, a Relationships and Communication outline has been developed.

Dress Code

Staff should be mindful that they are presenting the College in the way they dress and behave. Their style of dress should reflect their respect for the College community. Staff should be dressed modestly and with consideration to their role at the College.
