We offer exciting pathways for student success in vocational education. Our Trade Training Centre is a purpose-built facility housing industry-specific learning spaces. All certificates are taught on the College grounds by industry-specific lecturers enabling achievement of SACE Credits at Stages 1 and 2.

Students from Year 10 may commence industry sector training which counts towards SACE credits. This is a popular and exciting way to meld school and work training and experience.

Certificate lll in Business
Portside Christian College partners with Queensford College to deliver a qualification where you will gain the business skills and knowledge to successfully perform a wide range of duties in a business setting across diverse industries.
Certificate III in Christian Ministry and Theology
The Certificate III in Christian Ministry and Theology (aka Veta Morphus) is a nationally recognised vocational qualification which contributes to SACE and ATAR. It provides an opportunity for students to be part of a Christian discipleship experience with a focus on building your faith, serving your community and spending time with like-minded friends.
Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
Portside Christian College partner with Queensford College to deliver a Certificate that embeds the philosophy of empowering childhood educators while learning transferable skills for pathways into the Education sector. To work in childcare, you must have or be actively working towards at least a Certificate III qualification.
