Preparing for Transition Visits
If your child attends the Portside Early Learning Centre (ELC) on the day of their transition visit, our ELC educators will accompany them to Junior Primary and return them to the ELC when the session finishes.

On these days, children need to arrive at the ELC before 8:15am. This allows time for toileting and a safety talk before the children leave for Junior Primary.

If your child does not attend our ELC, or does not normally attend on the scheduled transition day, please bring them to the Junior Primary Courtyard at 9:00am. A member of our Junior Primary team will be there to welcome them. Parents and carers will then return to the Junior Primary Courtyard at the conclusion of the visit to collect their child.

Have you booked in for the Parent/Caregiver Beliefs Workshop?
As part of the enrolment acceptance process, all new Portside Christian College parents are required to attend a one-hour Portlife What We Believe Workshop. Attendance is compulsory for all new families.

The purpose of this workshop is to help families understand the Christian beliefs of the College so that you are informed, able to ask questions, and equipped to discuss these with your children during their learning journey. The College values and respects the different Christian perspectives families may hold.

This is also an opportunity for families seeking a church fellowship to meet the Portlife Church pastors and to access pastoral care support if needed.

Workshops run for 60 minutes and are held in the Portlife Church Auditorium.

To book your place please click here.
